Hi Moms!
I’m a wife, a mom, and a licensed clinical social worker currently working in the public schools. I created this blog as a space to share real-life experiences, practical insights, and empowerment for women navigating motherhood, work, advocacy, and burnout.
My Story
My Background
I hold an undergraduate degree in Journalism, a Master’s Degree in Social Work, and I am currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Education, with a focus on leadership and special education. My professional experience includes supporting children, teens, adults, and families across a range of clinical, community, crisis, and school-based settings, with a focus on mental health, crisis support, social-emotional learning, and systems navigation.

Today, I work in an elementary school providing individual and group support to students, collaborating with educators and families, and supporting school-wide social-emotional initiatives. My approach is grounded, compassionate, and shaped by both professional training and lived experience.

Life as a Mom
I’m married and the mom of former micro-preemie twins, born at 25 weeks, weighing 1-pound each. After months in the NICU and years of follow-up care and advocacy, parenting through medical complexity has deeply shaped how I view resilience, balance, and speaking up — both personally and professionally.
